For buyers

Your money is safe until your order arrives

When you pay through a Sigil link, your money does not go to the seller. It sits protected in escrow, and it is only released when you confirm you received what you ordered. If something goes wrong, you can open a dispute and a Sigil mediator steps in.

You can pay without an account. Create one to track your orders and have your delivery address filled in for you at checkout.

How it works

Three steps between you and a safe purchase

Every Sigil payment link works the same way, whichever seller sent it.

1

Pay into escrow

You pay through the seller's Sigil link. The money is held safely in escrow — the seller can see it is there, but cannot touch it yet.

2

Receive and confirm

The seller ships your order. When it arrives, you confirm it is what you paid for — one tap on the link Sigil sends you.

3

Money is released

Only after your confirmation does the money move to the seller. Do nothing and it releases automatically after 72 hours — unless you raise a dispute.

Held until you say so

The seller is only paid after you confirm delivery. No more paying first and hoping for the best.

A real dispute path

Order not right? Open a dispute from your confirmation link and a Sigil mediator reviews the evidence from both sides before any money moves.

Know who you are buying from

Sellers on Sigil verify who they are. Look for the verified badge and the seller's rating before you pay.

Track all your orders in one place

You don't need an account to pay — but with one, every escrow-protected order, confirmation, and dispute lives in a single dashboard across all the sellers you buy from, your saved delivery address fills in automatically, and your preferred payment option comes preselected whenever you pay through a Sigil link.
